Week 3 saw quite a few heavy hitters from the Stream Space including Metal group DIEFM, Hip-hop sensation Boy Graduate and Atomic’s first-ever Plutonium and Uranium award winner Toby Mobbs.

DIEFM v Sam Hill

DIEFM took on the Instra-Metal pioneer Sam Hill in their first-round matchup coming up trumps by a fair margin coming home 74 – 26. The band behind the chart-topper “Quiet Like Me” wasted no time rallying the troops on their way to the next round.

Zoey Quinn v Trancestate

Week 3 seemed to be the week of metal as Instrumental Metal artist Zoey Quinn took on the Band Trancestate. Trancestate coming out of the first round head to head with a comfortable margin and will see themselves take on DIEFM in their next round.

Miss Mikailia v Skya

After drawing her first-round match up with Sam Hill, Miss Mikalia found herself once again needing to find victory to make it through to the round of 32, standing in her way was producer/singer-songwriter Skya who managed to wrestle victory off her in their match-up. Skya managing to pull off the biggest upset in week 3 of the Stream Space Showdown. Check out his tune “Borderline” below.

Sprawler v Desertlife

Chelsea Knight v MDC

Chelsea Knight from Wodonga in regional Victoria managed to take the win in a bit of a one-sided affair over Newcastle producer MDC. MDC was the brainchild behind the successful electronic-indie tunes “The Music” and “Dental Plan”

Another unfortunate one-sided affair graced the Jordsi and Devotio matchup with Jordsi managing to come away with the W 73-27 over Devotio.

Danny Phegan v Toby Mobbs

One of the most exciting line-ups of week 3 was that of Toby Mobbs and Danny Phegan with the extremely popular Walla based country artist taking on one of the most successful Atomic Artist’s to have graced the Stream Space. Toby Mobbs managed to get on over Danny, in the end, coming through with the win in the final hours winning 56-44.
