Very True and if that involved me being asked to jump out of\na plane and make a fool of myself to raise awareness and money towards a good\ncause then I\u2019m in my element.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact my goal is to have a platform to be an advocate, a\nvoice, a source of joy or an outlet for others. \nTo help people and to make them happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now I\u2019m sitting here a raw, real and a slightly\nterrified individual writing my first article for Atomic Magazine.  I\u2019m crippled by the prospect of maybe having\nthat platform and what if I f..k it up or don\u2019t use it effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Instructions, just write about what you want.  Seems Simple. But in reality to me much more\ndifficult. I know what I want for others but do I even know what I want for me?\nLike really want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people don\u2019t even dare to dream, because to think of\nwhat they may want it seems so far out of reach and impossible.  As I\u2019m sitting here I\u2019m thinking how often\nhave I felt that what I want isn\u2019t actually important to others anyway, so\nthere is no real point seeking it.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I\u2019m thinking if I\u2019m allowed to have what I want, what what\nwould happen if I then realise that\u2019s not what I wanted at all.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So here it is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I want is to create conversations by giving insight and\nmy own unique perspective on things, that are either happening around me, to me\nor have somewhat effected or affected me in the past or may even do so in the future.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of you may like what I have to say, some may not. That\nitself is a conversation and if I can get people talking amongst themselves and\nthinking outside the square, the triangle or round box that someone else has\nput you in I\u2019m ok with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might be thinking what even qualifies Mel to give us insight\ninto topics and issues around us??<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The insight comes from the only thing I\u2019ve had thorough\ntraining in.  The one thing I can 100\npercent guarantee that no one else has learnt the same as me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is this revolutionary and distinctive training been based\non?  Life Experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Life Experience qualify me to give insight? The\nsame way it qualifies you with yours. It\u2019s mine and no one can take that away.\nIt gives me perspective and has shaped me into who and what I am today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We may have had similar things happen to us over our\nlifetime, things that help us relate to others or bond with them but no one has\nhad the exact same lead up to get to where you are currently at in your life.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All these differences make as more or less unique in\ndiffering variables.  What makes me\ncurious is to see how all these bits fit together to make you person that you\nare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I seek knowledge not judge but to understand.  If you can understand how a person came to\nthat conclusion you are much better equipped to communicate with them.  You don\u2019t have to agree with them.  But try to understand by having\nconversations. There is usually a Why behind the Why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So to try and extract some whys behind the whys I\u2019m going to\nshare, share the good, the bad and the ugly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some things will be funny, some will not, but I\u2019m going to\nendeavour to expose myself in hope that potentially this leads you to\nunderstand more about what makes me the product that sits before you today and\nmaybe by getting to know me, you may get to know yourself or others more upon\nreflection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jump on, strap yourselves in and be prepared to take in the\nscenery which is the rollercoaster of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
