No joke\u2026 Social media is a cesspool for negative content these days and I am struggling to breathe in the sea of hate, anger and frustration spewing on my feed. So much so, I have again utilised the only tool I have in my arsenal to combat this\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The social cull\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you all know I am a heavily opinionated type of person. No stranger to controversy and unapologetically direct in my delivery\u2026 I take the time to educate myself on theory\u2019s I am presented with and try my absolute best not to deliver something that is a load of sh#t. I have caused a lot of controversy in my local network writing these articles and even to this day am still reminded of how butt-hurt people are over a case studied, global opinion viewed as a personal attack\u2026 Which was met\u2026 With a personal attack in reply? (Go figure)\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clearly everyone is emotional at the moment and that is totally OK. The world is doing some very strange things and not a lot of people are having a very good time on the surface BUT you need to refrain on getting sucked into everyones negativity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the above-mentioned sook-fest, I went through my facebook and deleted around 650 people from my network and to be honest, I have never felt so liberated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have spent my entire life trying to please people, build up my connections, network and branch out, make sure I don\u2019t offend, keep to myself and be passionate about the LOCAL music industry all the way but there are some people out there that are just not worth your time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Side note: <\/strong>I\u2019m not talking about anyone in particular here\u2026 Just look at your feed\u2026 Do you support everyone you follow? If you answer Yes\u2026 Don\u2019t lie\u2026 It\u2019s not good and for every lie, you break your mama\u2019s heart\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you feel like you are being emotionally manipulated into liking something you actually don\u2019t like, be honest and say you don\u2019t like it. You don\u2019t need to be an arsehole and tear their heart out\u2026 Just provide constructive, honest criticism and move on with your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just be you\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be unapologetically YOU\u2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I promise you, there are the emotional types that won\u2019t like this and react in some strange and hectic ways BUT charge on, move forward and continue with your life. For the sake of your own mental health, stop putting up with the sh#t you see on the free app soapbox. Delete the noise and enjoy a peaceful life going forward \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
