We\u2019re a rock band, straight out 90\u2019s early 2000\u2019s rock band like Jebidiah and Kiss Chasey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> And Jimmy is part of my long term favourite &#8220;mum&#8217;s&#8221; band ELK!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jimmy: <\/strong>Essentially yeah, one day someone came up to us, I think it was you Mel and said we should do aerobics tracks for Pilates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> Yes! I tried to get you a gig at my Yoga Studio. So Micro Cuts have a cool boppy feel and ELK, well, people just want to be around ELK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan:<\/strong> By the way, I know the people out there can\u2019t see us in the studio, but we are physically fighting right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> With your eyes and minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>Mostly with fists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel: <\/strong>So, Jimmy your band have been isolated lately. Tell us what it\u2019s gonna be like for your band to come back and release yourselves into the region?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jimmy: <\/strong>It\u2019s gonna be so good! We are so excited just to hang out again and play music. We haven\u2019t even been together yet to start jamming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joining Elk and Micro Cuts on the line-up will be Rayan Wilson (acoustic) and Nathan Vaccaro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>you know what\u2019s cool, we all get to play music again, and we get to network with people who we\u2019ve never networked with before. So we get to do all these really cool new things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The event on the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of November will be Covid-Safe adhering to social distancing guidelines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> This is super important to get to. It&#8217;s the first and last chance to promote live original music in the area, because if people don\u2019t get there, venues are going to stop putting stuff on for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>No they won\u2019t. No I\u2019m kidding [giggles]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel [stern]:<\/strong> If we can\u2019t fill this space then, there\u2019ll be a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>Then we\u2019ll have to, we\u2019ll all have to go to bed early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jimmy: <\/strong>How many tickets are available, is the big question?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> It\u2019s very exclusive, due to Covid numbers there\u2019ll be less than 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jimmy: <\/strong>Well you better jump on them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan:<\/strong> Yeah get your tickets. What are you doing? What are you doing right now with your life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel: <\/strong>I\u2019ve already been, just sitting here buying them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>How many tickets have you bought so far?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> I\u2019ve bought them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Everyone:<\/strong> [laughs]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> Do you think this is gonna be one of those things where there\u2019s like a black market situation? And people just start scalping tickets?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>James Worth:<\/strong> Could be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dan: <\/strong>Yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mel:<\/strong> $12.25 if you can\u2019t get your butts down to one of these gigs, or if not both. The 20<sup>th<\/sup> of November is an all girls line up, the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of November, a Friday night, is Friday Night Live with all the boys there, great line up of bands. I\u2019ve got Jimmy Worth here, I\u2019ve got Dan Caulfield, they\u2019re gonna be there. I\u2019m gonna be there.
