They are one of the most influential bands of the last 20 years and we are making a career-defining album at the minute,&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>shares Feldmann.<em>\u00a0&#8220;They are one of the best live bands I\u2019ve ever seen and Bert is quite possibly the best singer I\u2019ve ever worked with. This has been a dream of mine since I met them in 2001.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feldmann signed The Used to Reprise Records in January 2002, one short year after the band formed in Orem, Utah. These are folks who\u2019ve appeared alongside The Used on festival and touring bills and who share the band\u2019s affinity for working with John Feldmann &#8212;\u00a0<strong>Jason Aalon Butler (Fever 333) on &#8220;Blow Me&#8221;; Mark Hoppus (blink-182) on &#8220;The Lighthouse&#8221;; Travis Barker (blink-182) on &#8220;Obvious Blas\u00e9&#8221;; and Caleb Shomo (Beartooth) on &#8220;The Lottery.&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently, the band premiered &#8220;The Lighthouse&#8221; featuring the incomparable blink vocalist with\u00a0<strong><em><a class=\"\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/campaign.sgcmedia.com\/lt.php?s=c834965d6f5e883f12b72732835893c5&amp;i=1539A25780A3A23739\" target=\"_blank\">Grammy.com<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0As a special thanks to essential workers on the pandemic frontlines, the Used are\u00a0<strong><a class=\"\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/campaign.sgcmedia.com\/lt.php?s=c834965d6f5e883f12b72732835893c5&amp;i=1539A25780A3A23744\" target=\"_blank\">inviting fans<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to be a part of the song&#8217;s forthcoming music video.
