A Publication is Born.

Due to the lack of news and promotional mediums available to original musicians throughout regional Australia. The Atomic team took it upon themselves to launch an independent music and entertainment magazine focusing on independent and original artists throughout its sphere of influence.

The first edition of the Atomic Magazine was made available via digital email subscriptions in February 2019. With a team of only 3 people and a deadline of a little over a week needed to get it over the line.

The main focus?

To promote the artist and shine light onto the ever growing music industry that seems to be continuing to flourish with the help of all you good people out there. Plus who doesn’t want to know what banging music is coming out of the Atomic Countdown. (May be biased 😅.)

Why Should I Bother?

Good question I’m glad you asked.

The Atomic Magazine has turned heads throughout multiple organisations not only regionally but nationally as well including government agencies like MusicNSW.

This recognition solidifies the fact that the Atomic Magazine and other Atomic platforms legitimise the artists, their music and the industry as a whole regionally. Without these tools, grassroots artists may never find the courage or support to turn their dreams into reality. Nor be involved in such a positive, supportive and inclusive music industry we should be proud to have.

Not only is it beneficial for the artists, it has allowed young aspiring journalist, graphic designers and photographers a platform to earn their stripes in a media industry that is getting ever so hard to gain experience in. Plus you get to keep up to date with all the happenings with the latest artists to come up through the ranks both regionally and nationally.

We also manufacture and print our magazines regionally, keeping more jobs in regional areas and allowing local small businesses to grow. A win, win, win, win if you ask me.
