Listen to 100 amazing Australian artists and songs this Australia Day

Written by on 17 January 2024

The days are clocking down to a National Public holiday and the opportunity for a backyard barbecue listening party.

The Atomic 100 celebrates the best of the best hits which broadcast throughout the year on the Atomic national radio footprint.

Each weekly Top 20 broadcast is put together by calculating streaming and download points from the Atomic music streaming platform. Throughout the year those points tally up and result in the cream of the crop most radio-active songs garnering airplay for the mighty Atomic 100.

We’ve announced that the 26th of January this year will feature the first Australia Day broadcast of our annual Atomic 100.

Original Australian artists from all across the country have already been notified in advance of their Australia Day airplay.

Support your favourite artists by checking in to their socials to see if they’ll be featuring on the Atomic 100 this Australia Day.

Where Can I Listen?

Instructions on how to tune in via Atomic Radio.

As per usual the Atomic 100 this year will be broadcast exclusively on Atomic Radio from 10.00am.

This digital online stream can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

Whether you’re celebrating the National holiday from the middle of the outback, city centre or overseas, you’ll be able to access the 100 through the Atomic Music Website.

If you’re tuning in from desktop, or backyard laptop, the Radio icon is accessible in the top right-hand corner. On mobile the icon is in the bottom right-hand corner. This will open up a pop-up radio player.

We use the third party mytuner radio app, so no downloads required. We’ve occasionally had problems running the stream on Chrome web browser, but get it working just fine on Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

Enjoy your Australia Day and we hope to hear you listening to the Atomic 100!
