We are excited to have a new member joining the Atomic management family!
Introducing, Singer/Songwriter and Producer, Joel Sulman.
Joel has a long history in the Australian music industry as a songwriter touring his music for many years and achieving multiple charting and play-listed tracks on multiple stations and platforms in his travels.
Growing up in the northern NSW town of Byron Bay, he was surrounded by music from a young age. During his University Years, he studied a Bachelor of Music majoring in Audio Engineering at The Australian Institute of Music and from then on, has been involved in a large number of major Australian events and festivals in an Audio Production setting.
On his music, he has been seen playing on lineups along side international artists such as John Mayer, Michael Franti, Spearhead, Russell Morris, Jasmine Rae, Gary Clark Jnr, Dr John and the Night Trippers, Jackson Firebird, Allensworth and many more.
In 2015, he built Even Tone Records, A small production/recording studio in Albury/Wodonga which saw artists such as Dave Graffin, Brent Shirley, Miss Mikaila, Jess Collins, Jade Gibson among many other local artists all produce works! Most notable being Vanessa Delaine who has charted internationally and gained over 40 awards for works produced in the Albury Studio!
Joel’s passion for developing confidence in musicians exploded when he formed the Border Academy of Rock in 2016. An Albury based music school with the vision to put his students into jam studio’s together and develop their skill set learning much more than just how to play their instrument. His belief was always that an artist develops exponentially when put in a group setting.
Joel has been heavily involved in a large number of video and radio projects around the border area including Music Mafia, TheBAR Sessions and 2REM’s 9pm Sessions which saw 3 years of radio airplay for many local artists from Albury/Wodonga.
More recently, Joel was known as the Youth Programs Coordinator for Retro Youth Cafe in Albury managing a large number of music events for the young people in Albury and its surrounds.
“The Atomic project is something I have watched grow closely from way back when I built my first studio. It has grown so much since then and I am excited to be involved!” said Joel
Joel will be joining the team as our Infrastructure Manager maintaining our vast music systems network and developing solutions for Atomic to best deliver it’s services and products to musicians in Australia!
With vast experience in The Australian Music industry, Joel is a huge addition to the team.
